PROCUREMENT UNIT
FUNCTIONS:
- Handling of all procurement activities on goods and services;
- Preparing the Yearly Procurement Plan;
- Serving as Secretariat for PPC and MTB Meetings;
- Market Surveying;
- Keeping records of Contractors;
- Registration of Contractors;
- Price Indexing;
- Advising payment after verification by Stores Unit, Internal Audit and Stock Verifier;
- Advising on management and supervision of maintenance of buildings or any other assignment; and
- Performing any other duties as may be assigned by the Permanent Secretary/Secretary to the Commission.
